I love Worms 3D and Worms 4 Mayhem (Ultimate Mayhem)! My friend and I play Ultimate Mayhem a lot recently and it's a lot of crazy fun! Customizing your own worms and gametypes is a lot of fun, but sadly still a bit limited. I would love it to make my own levels and have some more customization options. And that would probably be possible in a new 3D Worms game. I really hope Team 17 will announce a new 3D Worms game soon. I like 2D aswell, but they need to give 3D a turn again. :)
