So who here actually EARNED the Recon armor?
And I'm not talking about unlocking it from the Vidmasters.
I'm talking about how Recon was worth getting. Back when you had to impress Bungie and have them personally send you the armor to your account.
The Recon Armor lost its appealing factor when you could unlock it through Vidmasters. Now since everyone has it, its just as worthless as any other armor set.

1 回复I received it for being a ninja. I used one of the shoulders. I also completed the vidmasters because it was a fun thing to do with friends.

3 回复I earned Recon Armor because I found a Recon Skull on Halo 3 on the mission Cortana XD

1 回复I did, and it was through the Vidmasters. And to whoever says that the VMs weren't challenging, you don't know squat.

4 回复I unlocked it through the Vidmasters and barely wore it. I was too busy with my Rogue helmet and Katana that I still wear to this day. Also, Recon (for me) lost it's appealing factor the moment it was given to someone who got killed by a traffic cone.

The vidmasters were earning the armor. Getting it given to you from Bungie was nothing more then getting lucky. That said the original reason I made this account was to claim my recon in Halo 3 after completing the vidmasters.

4 回复Those members of the community are long gone friend. You gotta take a time machine back to better times if you want to talk to any of chose chaps. That being said, I always liked the mongoose chest-piece. MFW it wasn't there in lolReach or 4.
