That graph I "pulled out of my ass" was created from information gathered by NVIDIA (one of the major gaming hardware companies) and DFC Intelligence ( one of the premier marketing research firms for both the gaming and tech industries). You can disagree with the facts all you want, but you're the only one that's going to look like a moron. Oh hardly. A lot of pirates (myself included) buy the stuff that they enjoyed. Why do you think I recently spent almost $400 on anime that I've already seen? (This is also partially do to the fact that I'm starting a collection.) It's only the little kids with no money who don't pay back what they should. And you do realize that tons of people (excluding some PC gamers) pirate stuff other than PC games, right? Music and video piracy is SIGNIFICANTLY higher than PC game piracy. ALSO, some game developers even promote the piracy of their own game so that gamers can test out the whole thing before they buy it, because why pay for a shitty product?

He says that it's not true that the games will be pirated because he's pirated games. Anything after that became void. Just because HE bought them afterwards doesn't mean others will. It also doesn't change the fat that it was pirated.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, a lot of people who pirate anything, whether that be games, music, videos, etc. usually do end up legally buying it at some point if that person enjoyed it. The only people who don't do this are the little kids with no money to pay back what deserves to be payed back.

I already knew this was the case. However, to think that the majority of people who pirate media will actually end up buying it after they have gotten all that can be enjoyed out of it is quite naive.

I'm more into the whole piracy scene than you may think, and trust me, lots of pirates actually do buy the stuff that they enjoy.

It isn't relevant because the thing that helped them was the publicity from the stunt itself. Like I said, I have always acknowledged the fact that piracy can help, however, your claim that the majority of pirates go back and buy the game/ media is not backed by any evidence and ignorant of the facts. There are people like you who do, yes, but the majority certainly do not.
