Its the law, not YouTube. Just because you don't ASK before using it to make thousands does not mean you're entitled to keep on making profit off a product that isn't yours. More than likely if you AKSED to make a PROFIT off of someone's product, they'll let you do so after a deal.
Which isn't that bad, its called business and its a part of the real world.
EDIT: Some of the flagged videos are BS though I admit. However my point still stands for YouTubers such as game commentators.
Angry Joe had two of his own personal interviews flagged. Emphasis on personal. Unless Google owns Angry Joe's character and the person himself, that's pretty BS.
Then he can contact YouTube support and ask them to remove the flagged video. Google is really pushing legal matters and making it harder for everyone involved. Five years ago we didn't have this nonsense.
