Don't get me wrong i would love to see Nintendo games on other platforms. But if Nintendo went the way of Sega that would be one less competitor in the console race. and that terrifies me. I don't trust Sony or MS to do the right thing with less competition.

lol Nintendo isn't a source of competition as things stand right now anyway, so the "console landscape" wouldn't change that much if Nintendo ducked out. Wii U: Sold just under 4 million units in 1 year. Xbox One: Sold 2 million units in well under a month. PS 4: Sold 2 million units in well under a month. Nintendo is no competition this generation.
