You might want to add spoiler tags to your post. [spoiler]I was actually waiting for a choice to kill the doctor as well as to side with Echo or the Sergeant.[/spoiler] Maybe it's because I've been playing too much Skyrim or Mass Effect, but being able to choose such things would've added to the game experience even though it's not an RPG.

I didn't do any real spoilers I didn't say whether any of that happens I just said what i would have done the moment I met the people. I avoided actually saying what happens. But Echo really? [spoiler]And how could you possibly side with echo. I mean the whole game you see the new Helghan government execute civilians... first your civilians as they double crossed you after getting a safe haven then their own civilians in the streets, and constantly hear the same kill all Vektans mentality even when you're directly dealing with their military and not the black hand terrorist group. Then they try to make you feel bad about experimenting on Helghan civilians, but as soon as the new Helghan leader gets the scientist she sends her off to the terrorist group along with captured Vektans for experimenting, she doesn't ever go after the terrorist group living in her own territory, and threatens to immediately go to war if you attack the army that was built by the terrorist group with the only purpose being to retake Vekta. You can't possibly feel bad about the horrible conditions due to sanctions because the new Helghan government already broke the treaty by murdering civiilians and refuses to tone down their military production. The leaders aren't going to take the hit for their citizens from sanctions they pass that shit down to the civilians they don't care about. And this is all supposedly from the innocent Helghan group not even the enormously powerful terrorist group that has always murdered anybody who doesn't agree with them or tries to think freely.[/spoiler] Even if you follow the time line of killzone there is little reason to side with the Helghast.
