Awful Dream
Ever had a dream so bad or scary that you've woken yourself in a panic or with tears?
Something happen in a dream that just cut so deeply to your core that you actually woke up emotional?
How often does that happen, if at all and what happened, if you can remember?

1 回复由Gay Snake编辑： 11/24/2013 12:03:57 AMI had a terrible dream about trying to commit suicide, I failed miserably. I ended up at the bottom of an abandoned cliff with all my bones shattered. I painfully cried for death to come but it didn't. It felt like I layed there for hours until I woke up.

2 回复Really strange dream about a year ago that still sticks with me today. Was sitting on a tiny piece of stone jutting out from a massive sheer wall in the middle of the ocean, hundreds of feet above the water, beautiful gradient sky with pinks and purples and blues. I didn't fall or anything, I was just sitting there looking around, but when I woke up my heart was beating hard and I sure was relieved to be awake. Should be noted I'm deathly afraid of heights and the thought of the deep ocean, particularly the thought of, like, the Antarctic ocean.

5 回复Ι was in a roller coaster that was about as high as the Empire State Building and when it reached the top it stopped and then quickly continued to go down and I woke up cause it was scary.It was like falling of to your death.

I usually just laugh at all the nonsensical crap or amusing ways I die or get hurt (eg: Himalayan balloon accident or nearly drowning when the captain of a the tiny ship I was on wanted to make it flip a few times). The really bad dreams are ones where I go to school without my homework or forget completely about a test.

I had a bad dream last night, but they never scar me anymore. I'm barely ever frightened by them now. Which honestly kind of sucks. I was in some rural country that felt like Africa, with my father, and we had something that we were running away from people with. Suddenly as we were going through a meadow like area, we got surrounded by a lot of warlord looking dudes. They drove up in several trucks and started attacking us with any number of hand to hand weapons. We split up and started fighting them off. I probably fought off like 5 of them myself before they started attacking me with children, which is when it got worse. I remember yelling at them to put down the weapons before I had to do something I would regret, and most of them backed off at that point. This sort of thing went on for awhile.

1 回复Maybe like a couple times a year for me. My nightmares are usually stupid and pointless, like bigfoot chasing me around or something. But when I do have a serious nightmare, it's usually about someone I care about dying or just leaving.

I had a few dreams where someone is robbing a house and I was in there or watching. They don't leave me waking up crying, though..

About... three months ago in my dream, I was just sitting in some sort diner. I look down and I see that I dont have skin... I dont freak out or scream in my dream. I just get up and walk to the bath room and look at my self in the mirror. The I feel this burning feeling in my gut. I look and its bleeding. After that I dont recall. :/.... I wish I remebered the whole dream. but I did wake up I breathing heavily.

8 回复Not really, but I did have a long period where all I would dream about is [i]myself on the Internet[/i]. My life was in such a rut that I would dream of doing mundane things. After the sixth or seventh time, I'd wake up cripplingly depressed. One of these dreams was someone making a thread in a group that I go to entitled "Who would you eat in this group" and everybody said that they would eat me. ...Okay, that's kinda funny... Have you, though?

I don't usually have many dreams and if I do they are the most random, useless dreams you could have. I have had a very bad nightmare once. I can't remember it clearly but a very intimidating killer entered my home and I was hiding under my bed, I think I ran to the kitchen when he was not near me to grab a knife but when I turned around he started slashing me and I felt the pain..kinda. I woke up on the floor in shock and screamed then glanced around my bedroom. [spoiler]Then realized it was a dream and made myself a sandwich and watched some good ol' breaking bad.[/spoiler]

1 回复Shaken? sure. In tears? never. I've had ones that stick with me for a day or me too, but I knew they were just vivid subconscious things that never really mattered and eventually forgot them. I hate having dreams about people I wish to forget.
