7 回复Most self-described 'introverts' are just socially awkward kids who wish they could be that extroverted guy at a party; I used to be one myself. One of my good mates is a true introvert and he can socialise, it's just that he likes his own space. If we hang out we just smoke a joint and chill, could never get him to come clubbing or whatever. But don't make excuses for your anti-sociality by chalking it down to introversion. The moment you start doing that is the moment you stop trying, and you'll wake up one day as a middle aged man all alone realising that you're not some brooding mystery the world would love to puzzle out, you're just a lonely aging guy who has few friends and no real relationships. Just my two cents.

I feel like this is accurate. I love my family but I get 3 plus phone calls a day because I don't like to answer my phone. Truth is nothing has changed between a week ago and now. I have nothing new to talk about and I know from the past 12 times you just asked me how it's going that you don't either. Just chatting for 3 plus hours wears me out. I do it every day at work for 11 hours around guys who recharge by not shutting up. I want to stay away from forced social interaction on weekends and after work. My ex use to do this it'd drive me up the wall. I've been lifting heavy objects and socializing for 14 hours and we talked about both our days plenty. May I please put my head back at just sit there for an hour? Please ?

1 回复I thoroughly enjoy spending time in a solitary perching place, bu I also relish in sharing such a place with one who I can interact with beyond a superficial level.

2 回复It's disturbingly accurate. It should be taught in schools as a basic thing like how to read and write. Leave the Introverts alone D:

1 回复I was an introvert, then I was forced into a situation where I had to be extremely extroverted 12 hours a day to be able to eat. Now I feed off my own energy and have become a God. Try my method.

I only need my own energy. I am alone yet am not alone. My energy builds as I sit in my loneliness. I leech off of it and am an ascended being of pure energy. When this energy one day builds up enough it shall explode and cover the planet. The radiation of my energy will feed the world, we will all escape the confines of the ATfield and become one with the LCL

It made a very good point about gossip. Asking me how my day goes really annoys me. I don't mind hearing about their day and whatever else they have to say, but shit, I'm not interesting so STOP GIVING ME THE INQUISITION! I'm tired now. Back to my bubble.

由Ad Hoc编辑: 11/16/2013 4:10:45 AMI can kind of see that being true. I love hanging out with people, but I'm always mentally exhausted afterward. I always have this feeling like I'm trying to make sure other people are having a good time, and I need time alone to recharge after.
