For me, I have a Ninetales at 4 hearts of Affection, while my starter Delphox only has three, but it's interesting to note that if it's affection is that high, it can sometimes avoid attacks specifically for that, or get over ailments. I've had it get poisoned then say something like "Ninetales got over it's ailment so Brandon didn't have to worry!" and that makes me go D'awwwwww. What about you guys?
