The second coming of our lord Jesus Christ is coming March 13, 2014. Praise be to Titanfall.

1 回复Wow, $60 for a game that hasn't even released yet? What a rip off! I'm gonna go make more ridiculous accusations!

I was fortunate enough to play Titanfall at PAX and it blew me away. They nailed the game feel beautifully; the mobillity is a fantastic breath of fresh air, the Titans don't feel like a win-more powerup and exist in a nice equilibrium with the Pilots, it's just straight up good. It's entirely fine if you're not interested in multiplayer or the game itself, but I place a high value on my entertainment and I'm entirely happy to spend $60 on a game that will bring me well over 60 hours of entertainment. I feel the decision to omit the singleplayer was a wise move: it would likely be a play once and forget experience anyways, recomitting those resources that would have gone into making and testing the part that people will return for again and again seems like the wisest move. It certainly isn't a rip off just because it values quality over quantity.

Online only because it uses online assets necessary for the game. And yes, instead of a tacky campaign they are doing something new and melding the two together. AI and human players with story. Oh and try to jump over a fence without a script built in on CoD. Titanfall's thruster is Halo's jump. It allows you to make full use of the map.

4 回复Honestly, it seems that the only games with good singleplayer anymore are the ones that concentrate on it solely/primarily. The same goes for multiplayer. So, I think I'm ok with Titanfall putting everything it has into the multiplayer.

7 回复You get way more hours out of multiplayer so that's some pretty retarded logic there OP.

1 回复Maybe $40 or so would be an alright price. Unless it's actually packed with so much content.

5 回复At least it won't end up like near every Battlefield campaign- played once then forgotten.
