    I haven't actually seen the whole series, and it's been a while, but I liked the scene when they were attacking the German town and Joe and the other guy got wounded. Her best Childhood friend was Joe's brother's grandson. From what I've heard, one time Joe got in a fight at a bar, removed his prosthetic leg, and beat the other guy with it. Another time, him and his brother got into a drunken brawl at his mother's funeral over who loved her more. Drunk at a funeral? He was Irish. That pretty much explains it.
