I liked Amon so... I tend to root for the bad guys because they aren't the usual motiveless idiots. The Watertribe guy is doing what's best for the Southern Water Tribe, since the spirits are going to need fighting off so if he brings along an Army then even if he does take over it will likely be for the best.
