These things in blue always seemed like the Fallen to me but what about the green ones? I thought they were confirmed to be the Fallen? It kinda looks like one is losing its soul... what could it be instead?

It's interesting because when the Fallen get headshot in-game (E3/Gamescom demo and 2nd ViDoc) they seem to emit a beam of light like you see a figure in the green panel doing. So I can see where the confusion would come from. We're certain the blue panel is Fallen and the green is Hive, but maybe they just hadn't ironed out the gestures / effects of the different species at this point.

Yeah, most likely. That's what everyone's guessing, anyway. I think the fifth race was mentioned along with black obsidian pyramid ships and the typical Bungie "we're not talking about them yet" in a Mail Sack many months back.
