If you ever go on a hike, into bear country, they tell you to announce your presence to a bear so you dont startle it, they are far more likely to attack if they are startled. Think about it, they are the apex predator, they dont get shit creeping up on them. Also, youre the moron for not knowing this.

Lol You're actually supposed to stand your ground when it comes to a situation where a bear is charging you. You're told to shout as loud as you can and make yourself seem bigger than you are, although that's only if they're sizing you up. If said grizzly is intent on killing you, it will kill you. Even if you run away.

Or you could do the more sensible thing and retreat. If they see you and charge, then you can shoot them out of self defense. Either way you're shooting an innocent animal, only the first option gives you a chance to avoid the conflict.
