I just exclude the domain of every website I regularly visit. I don't want to get routed to some random, back-alley site one day and get a shit-ton of pop-up's, but I also feel like it's pretty selfish to demand web content for free.

I am unsure why I am obligated to share their cost, though. Watching a YouTube video in no way implies that I have agreed to watch any of their ads. I am not the one who called people who use AdBlock "morons," if you'll recall. I certainly don't advocate that others do it, as in this scenario I am largely acting selfishly and it would not benefit me to have others use AdBlock. In fact, if I was to act purely selfishly, I would discourage others from using it, but I have more intellectual integrity than that. Anyway, I don't particularly care about the financial well-being of Google or YouTube, so whatever.
