UK filter will block more than expected
It's been discovered that UK internet filter designed to stop access to pornography actually blocks other kinds of content such as File Sharing, Social Networking and Gaming. As a UK citizen I have to say this is just an abomination, it was a pathetically atrocious attack on our civil liberties before but this just obvious censorship.
For anyone not in the UK our current government is basically just the Conservative party (It's actually a little more complicated but it's had no real effect but giving the PM a tea boy.) and they are, and let's be rational about this, elitist, selfish, Tory monsters who cut spending to those in worse positions, raise their own wages and pretty much focus entirely on helping the 1%. And you thought your government was bad.
So to sum up, or government is implementing a system that you have to opt-out of rather than opt-in and will block most of the internet. Opinions?

Hey Cameron, rather than have us opt out of this stupid bloody censorship thing, why don't you make it optional for us? Pron I couldn't give a shit about, but blocking vidya and social networking is just mindbogglingly stupid. Then again, doesn't surprise me. It's David Cameron.

This is not a matter of civil liberties or censorship; it is, at most, a matter of practicality. Statements like this give lefties a bad name.
