Maybe you could take the time in the tower to clean your armor, capes, clothing, maybe even guns to make them more shiny (not necessarily but you get my point) and it would be like a mini game (maybe) and you could like, pick up the cleaning utensils with left trigger or L2 and scrub with R2 or right trigger.
