You know what other country has horrible immigration problems? The UK.
At least Australia is competent enough with handling with their immigration problems. The UK is simply beyond useless. I know this first hand.

We got the EU forcing our borders open that's why and we can't deport them if they claim they are going to be killed. AKA Human rights acts prevent deportation which causes mass immigration. Annoyingly enough an independent think tank has said the UK needs to get 170,000 immigrants a year until 2050 to stay sustainable. So immigration is good but annoying as hell. Most immigration problems comes down to how benefits, housing and medical care if taken care of compared to the native population.

I was under the impression that the domestic and international view was that just us "back-asswards yanks that didn't do immigration right". At least that is the common sentiment in the popular press in the US. According to our media, we're mostly xenophobic haters of "others" and are the only ones that "have a problem".

Oh no. England is still a hugely racist country. I wouldn't go to the extent of calling them xenophobic as England has always been heavy in immigrants for far longer than the US has ever been. They still definitly are racist enough here and it is such a problem that on official forms there are sections that ask if you feeling mistreated because of your race and so on. It's pretty ridiculous.

Your not from Britain yet you accuse us of being racist? Please stop talking for a country you don't belong to. The UK isn't racist and is very tolerable of other race's, religions and sexual orientation. We have extremists here and we HATE THEM not the nice foreign national's.

Lol Do I really need to have been born in a country to simply look around, watch the news, or beinb an immigrant myself, see how people are treated? That on dozens of official paper work they have sections asking if I have been treated wrong, if any service has ever been racist. Why are you such a UK fagbag? It's not like I'm hating on it or making shit up. It's the truth, same way as I'd have no problem in admitting any problems the US or Spain has, BECAUSE IT'S THE TRUTH.

Back in the 40's to 80's sure racism was rampant but it's not as bad as the news makes us believe. Sure you people like the BNP and EDL but any English person would tell you they don't like them because they are racist. The only racism in this country is actually just, because it is aimed at the people who come here and play the system. They come here, don't pay taxes, demand benefits, nice cars and 5 room houses, free healthcare, housing benefits so they don't need to pay for the house. They want their laws put into place and their traditions and customs to replace ours then claim we are all racist because we say no. Look at London now, 4million people are foreign if we are a racist country then how is our capital half British and Half foreign born? The commonwealth is 90% black with some Asian and Caucasian, if we where racist that institution would not be there or defended by so many Brits.

That's exactly what English people do in Spain. Simply because England is most likely the most multi-cultural country on the planet, doens't mean it's not racist in a vast percentage. Why is everything so black and white with you? And it doesn't have to be in the news, other people outside the country talk, talking to people at work, other english people even saying that racisim is still a big thing. The Commonwealth is an institution for the UK's nostalgia of having been colonial conquerors. Since they lost all their territories after WWII because of all the nationalist sentiments, they felt it was need to continue to have some effect on those territories, even if it meant helping them after having exploited them. And I have no idea what BPN and EDL is. And nice assumption there, by the way. Show your true colors.

Sure some people are racist but not the entire country, you got treated bad by a bunch of chavs, so what? The rest of us are racist because of it? Don't think so. Have a guess at what generation are the racists.......had a guess yet? Those born after 1985 don't tolorate racism, it's the generations before us are the racists and the one's spreading it. Also the BNP is the British National Party their leader is considered to be the ultimate racist by people in many countries including America. EDL is the English Defense Force and they have been attack mosque's and muslims for a while now, nobody in the UK agree's with them. Also the most racist people in the UK live in Scotland. And what true colours are they? My anti-racism colours or are you calling me a racist? It's a colour of skin, why should I care? If they come here and follow our laws, respect our culture and traditions and work hard like everybody else then they can come into the country all Brits agree with that statement.

Lol I didn't get treated bad by chavs. Plus, It's not even chavs I've seen beings racist as -blam!-, and nothing joking about it. I'm not saying the UK is 100% racist, I'm saying that racism is way more alive than most people think here. And people born after 1985 sure as hell are racist. Maybe not to the same intensity as those born before, but there sure as hell are kids racist as hell or pre-adults. And I meant you're colors by making a a nice assumption that I'm doing nothing in this country, living off the social services. It's funny though because in Essex from what I've seen, it's mostly the immigrants that work while the actual English live off the government and all that. Of course I know this doesn't apply to the whole country. But of course, there are bad immigrants and then there are good ones, like me. I've worked, paid my taxes and all that I have to do. But am I granted residence? lolno I ask for my passport back from UKBA and they won't even give it back or respond to me because Ii want to leave the country. I might as well text HOME to that add about being deported if I'm ilegal in the UK.

I'm not even British, I'm one of those immigrants caught between legal procedures and unable to leave the country because they have my passport. Hopefully US Embassy can do something about it. Also, I agree. Not that I have anything against Muslims, but it's getting out of hand.
