Indeed. Most people will eat the literal shit they have been served and say that they appreciate it because it's the only thing they've got. Less than 1000 calories is unhealthy, you're potentially doing yourself long term harm. I grew up poor too, single mother in minimum wage work looking after three kids. I got a job when I was 14 and have paid for my own food/other shit ever since, this alongside full time education making top grades.
