For those who enjoy Halo Wars...
What faction do you prefer?
Also: What is your favourite unit?
Vampires are my favourite units. If you have ever seen a full air force of vampires stasis draining an army of hawks, you'll know what I'm talking about.

2 回复I prefer playing as the Covenant. My favourite unit is the Wraith. They pown Grizzlies if you know how to use them.

I gotta love my Hunter-Vampire army led by Regret and supported by a Scarab and a few Engineers. Once you get Hunters and Vampires fully upgraded, there's not a lot that can overcome that combo. Honestly though, I enjoy playing all UNSC leaders too. I'm not a big Arbiter or Chieftain fan for some reason, despite knowing how effective they are in the early-game rush.

9 回复During the Community Carnage Halo Wars games today, I didn't see a single person use a Covenant character except for the AI once. :P

I preferred humans, because dropping ODSTs in was fun. My favorite unit was a fully upgraded tank with a Spartan driving it. They were all but invincible. Three of those, alongside those bigass gunship things, end the game early.

1 回复There's something about getting a legion of 51 Brutes and using the Rocket ability to launch all of them across the map; surrounding a scarab and taking it out in seconds without casualties that's so much fun. Gotta go with the covies on this one.

7 回复Brute Chieftain. All you do is build temple and then resources, sent the chieftain into all the neutral bases to destroy them and then capture them or let your team get them. Easy early points AND quick bases. Plus, with all the resources you gather building the warehouses, you can fully upgrade the locust, get 6 of them and destroy even more bases or spam them at the enemy and rack up enough resources to get a scarab as well. Then get the followers tech to increase population by 10 and you can get an army of: 1 Scarab 1 Chieftain 10 Locusts The scarab plus the 10 locust special attack on a building destroys those things SO quickly it's not even funny. The only problem with this tactic is locusts are weak attackers and get killed easy so you need to get your team or the scarab to protect them.

1 回复I love using both. But UNSC might be my preferred faction. For fav units for UNSC are ODST, Spartan, Cobra's, Vultures (even though their hp suck) and Hawx. For Covey it's Jackals, Brutes, Elite Honor Guards, Engineers, Brute Chieftain, Prophet, Locust and of course The Scarab
