If we have a healer sub class I will utterly rage. They are a horrible sub class, especially for a FPS.
All it will do is make a huge stereotype on the warlock class.

Exactly, no one has ever done it right. (If their even is a way to do it right) You know how many games have had a healer in it, and in that game whichever class is a "healer", everyone only wants that class as a healer? Every single game. In WOW, if you are a priest that doesn't heal, no one cares about you really. The same would happen with a warlock. Plus on that note, a FPS doesn't need a healer. Unless it is like the BF3 medic pack (tweaked a little). But that wouldn't work for a futuristic shooter 700 years in the future.

From what I know about WOW, Priests are basically just for healing. But you still have other magicky classes like Warlock and Mage. So basically what you are describing isn't being a non healing priest and no one cares about you. Its like being a different magic bases class and no one cares about you because you don't heal. Obviously that is not the case. And isn't there a way to be a medic in TF2? And doesn't that work pretty well? That's obviously am FPS. So depending on how the mechanics of Destiny work, which we won't even have an idea of until later today, you can't say it can't work.

You have sub classes of priest in WOW. Only 2 are healers, 1 is pure damage, and if you are the damage one. No one cares cause you are a priest and they instantly think you are a healer. They aren't just for healing. And what is TF2? I am not familiar.

Okay I didn't know that, but the situation in Destiny is still very different from WOW. And, I'm not really trying to be an elitist here but, if you don't know what Team Fotress 2 is you don't have much room to say something never works in games...

I know it's different, but it still shows my point about having a class that is extremely stereotypes as a healer, which I think would still happen in destiny if warlocks can be healers. And no I know what it is now, just simply never heard the acronym. My bad. But yes in it their is a way to heal. You basically build a machine to heal people (sort of like the medic bag in BF3). Which that works for that game. But in a world like destiny where we have spartan like armor, would that work? But in another way that provides its own problem. Like in BF3 medic bag, and the TF2 healer thing. People just build it or throw the medic bag down and sit by it and continuously get healed over and over again. And it becomes harder to kill them. Now you get three people with that machine or medic bag, and it becomes increasingly hard to kill them. See that brings it's own problems. That's why I think we should just have health like in halo. A shield that regenerates and health under that shield. That way you don't need a medic, and you can survive alone with you are solo.
