Honestly, you're much better than McDonalds. If you have an HS diploma, don't work at McDonalds. Work in some place that has some meaning and dignity.
It's a simple job nearby that will help pay for my college. I have no intention of making a career out of the jobs I'm currently applying for. But apparently I'm not good enough cause I only get called for an interview about 30% of the time. It's pretty damn laughable how for an entry level position, they either want experience I can't possibly have, or they hire someone who's objectively less qualified than me. Coolmike can cry about how racist and horrible I am until he coughs up that blue pill crammed down his throat, but it's a FACT that all my less qualified competitors always seems to get the job over me.
Why would your grades matter to McDonald's?
You know, I can think of a few reasons why I wouldn't want to be in an enclosed space with you for an extended period of time. Your race isn't one of them.
Is it "being an asshole" or something along those lines? I was the better candidate no matter how you looked at it. Why was I turned down for someone lower? I was willing to work the same hours in a more flexible schedule for minimum wage, there was no reason for me to be turned down.
