I think it would bring a lot more diversity to Destiny if Bungie added same sex marriage. I would like to wander around the safe areas in third person with my gay husband. Embarking on a great adventure with the person you love hand in hand would be the greatest experience ever.

4 回复Don't get to carried away. First we have to establish that marriage is even an official thing in the game. Seeing it's a shooter, I don't see how such a light-hearted tone event can exist in a struggling world

Honestly, I don't believe there is any need for a marriage feature in the game... you want to say your married say your married... if you want a ceremony in game hold one, nothing is stopping you and I say more power to ya... But having a marriage feature would serve no real purpose in game...

2 回复No, why? Because this not mass effect. I'm here to kick alien ass not get hitched to some person. Also just ....No

A lot of angry people here today. C'mon guys take it easy. I think relatioships won't be a part of game play in Destiny, sure you can co-op with anybody you want but I think that will be it. It's been mentioned often that this won't be an RPG, it will just have some elements like loot, character customization, and co-op missions.

6 回复If a marriage system is included in the game (and I sort of doubt it will be) I see no reason why there shouldn't be same sex marriages. If the near extinction of our entire species, the constant threat of annihilation by alien invaders and the general struggle to survive doesn't get people past all this "worrying about the small stuff"...... Well there may not be much hope for us. If the argument against is "that's not why i'm here", well don't get married to anyone in game. Much the same rules apply in game as in real life. If you don't want to get married than don't, and in the words of Whoopi Goldberg: "If you're against gay marriage than don't marry a gay guy, its that simple". For my own part even if the game allows marriage I would not partake in that particular system. I have a wife, she isn't going to play but I have no intention of saying those or similar vows to anyone else. Even if it is just for fun/pretend/whatever. That does not mean however that I would presume to tell others that they should feel the same (and that doesn't even touch on real world couples wanting to marry in game).
