Yes, let's use Live Action that is low on the canon hierarchy as true canon. I'm actually confused why you're judging a live action based on the amount of action it has in it. And in terms of Knights, if you looked at canon sources for how effective they are, they're way better than Elites.

As for the Knights, it's unusual for them to operate without support units. A patrol consisting of 6-7 Knights, I doubt that.

Spartan Ops which have us Lore post launch* The thing about 343i is that they know what they're doing when it comes to Halo's story direction. Bungie didn't.

I didn't like the whole rampancy thing they did with Cortana, she got annoying and I'm really hoping that she is truly gone. The Didact was never really explained. To me he just seemed like some space prick. (I think the books explain it but I think that this is something that should have been explained in the game itself. Lastly, Prometheans weren't fun to fight, they were annoying as hell I hated that they could teleport and be resurected.
