Glad I gave you a reason to post something obvious. Now in light of two facts: 1) a new TNG movie isn't likely to be made, since JJ Abrams and Roberto Orci have created the alternate reality using Kirk and Spock; and 2) Star Trek TNG era novels are now being released with a cross-series continuity (as in events in one series novels cannot contradict those of another series - like Tuvok from Voyager being the chief of security on Riker's USS Titan); non-canon is the closest CBS is giving Trek fans.
