I'm pretty sure he meant to... When you replied to the OP, you were suggesting that if there were to be no god, there could be no afterlife. Banana told you that an afterlife is simply a spiritual presence after death, and could possibly be achieved without a god. It's all a matter of religious beliefs and perspectives.
