Regular or Prime? Halo wins against Regular. Prime wins against anything.

It seems to me that a bit of a stalemate has been reached. What's surprising me is how many people are overlooking Dahuterschuter's (I think I spelled that right) suggestion of trapping Superman in slipspace. Sure, it'd be difficult, but it's not as if nobody has tricked Superman before. I'm making a lot of assumptions here, though, so I guess you'd just have to put a pin in that one. With respect to Neural Physics, it's simply just too inconclusive to use as a threat or to dismiss. For example, we're not sure if it's completely invulnerable to physical damage or if the case is just that other factions in the Halo universe have been unable to break it with applied force. The answer to that problem could very well make the difference in this thread. There's also the matter of how Superman would be affected by the Halo rings. Neither side can properly prove that Superman would or would not be impervious to them because, again, the Halo lore hasn't specified enough about how it works. The forerunners and precursors are deliberately kept somewhat mysterious and vague, so it isn't really fair to use them as valid reasoning for defeating superman. That also doesn't mean that DC wins by default. It's just inconclusive.

Now for my actual argument "The Precursors were a race of beings preceding and possibly mythologized by the Forerunners, who believed them to be theoretical "Transsentient" beings, having the ability to travel among galaxies and accelerate the evolution of intelligent life. The Precursors achieved a higher level technological advancement than the Forerunners, being Tier-0, or Transsentience on the Forerunners' Technological Achievement Tiers.[1]" The Forunners could brainwash other species to fight for them (The prometheans), create planets (The shield worlds), make devastating biological weapons (the flood), and a way to destroy every living thing in the galaxy (The halo rings). If the Precusors were more powerful than the Forunners think about how ungodly powerful they were. I doubt superman could stand a chance against them.

Just send a slipspace bomb his way and teleport him to somewhere hundreds of thousands of lightyears away.

Halo rings... Problem superman? Even if you're still alive there's nothing left for you to protect, nothing left for you to do. Your very existance would be meaningless.

And also, since superman comes to the halo universe, HALO UNIVERSE PHYSICS APPLY!

Think this is the first thread where I've seen DC fans get visibly butthurt.

well, if the precursors are involved with all their tech, superman is boned. The Halos could take him out as well.

Superman is a very overrated superhero IMO. Superman will live since he's indestructible to anything

Halo. The Halo's destroy all sentient life. Superman is a sentient being.

Superman, because he's like that annoying kid on the playground that says he has an everything proof shield.

Precursors/Forerunners. Forerunners lock in him a time capsule and leave him there for eternity. Superman's strength does not expand to interdimensional magic.
