Do you regret not going to parties?
Sometimes when you get invited to a party but you decide not to go for whatever reason (not because you can't) do you end up having this weird feeling that you could have had so much fun and social time but you missed out on it? And do you feel like not going will have a negative impact on your popularity and that if you don't go you may not be invited next time?
Oh, and assume it is a safe party.
Wow, the flud is *not so* surprisingly antisocial.

I'm no party guy, but whenever I go to social gatherings I get this weird feeling afterward that it could've been so much better if I would've just done A, B, or C. It's this awful Monday-morning quarterbacking hang up I can't get over. For instance, I see some cute girl talking to some other guy and just think, "dammit, I should've been the one to go up and talk to her" and get depressed. Sometimes it's for less logical reasons than that, though. Luckily it never really goes past 24 hours.

We always had parties outside with fires and what not back at home. Different people, different culture. And young people are frustrating. By young I mean my age (college - early 20s)

Some are fun, but some are wrecked by someone getting too drunk and drama-ing the whole mood for everybody else because 'she is here with another dude', and then goes out into the foot deep snow to do somersaults because 'they don't care anymore', and starts screaming and crying shortly there after.... That was only one of several incidents. New Years Eve 1983 I was the 'other' dude she was going out with.
