You're so terribly wrong (and late with the pic) that it hurts.

I don't like the idea that Exos are completely robots, it wouldn't feel as if the Exos were a part of humanity, instead a tool. From what I seen Exos seem to have the ability to convey emotion. If you look at the picture of the Exo he/she seems sad, perhaps a fellow Guardian died. I speculate that the Exo wouldn't be sitting down there because he/she is tired, because they are "tireless warmachines". It wouldn't be probable that the Exo is sitting because of fatigue because of that. He/she probably can convey emotions, something only a living thing can do. This is why I do not think that Exos are fully robots, but cyborgs.

I'm actually betting that there is not a grandiose opening set piece like you kind of described. you are [i][/i]a[i][/i] guardian not [i][/i]the[i][/i] guardian. I'm thinking it will be a subtle opening with maybe a tour of the city and some intro missions you can choose from. It sounds to me like the game is giving less of a master chief angle, going for more "you become a legend by what you choose to do", not by how the game directs you. I also don't think there will be a "three unlikely friends" angle as I am sure that you can play together with three of the same race/class and probably more than just three as well. In that same Idea, you are probably not shoehorned into playing with two other AI characters if you are soloing. I'm actually hoping for a more metroid type story where you learn about the lore through exploration and discovery rather than told through video.

If you want my full take on the Exo then read my fan fiction "Birth of an Exo" All i will say here is I think the Exo and the Awoken are both born and products of the Traveler. It makes sense that then they can be different and separate from "Humans" but still be on their side fully and completely.

I agree that they might be Reanimated Robots, but I think all the rest is not going to happen. Especially the cinematic for the Awoken and Humans. If I chose a Human, I'd rather see some dramatic cutscene in which I get armored up and such than me digging a hole.

that's cool and all but in my personal opinion the EXO could be survivors of whatever hit earth, But they sustained injuries too severe to live from so made the choice to become EXO (robot\super human body with a human brain and maybe face) or they could have been full human once but volunteered to be enhanced into a super human war machine but the reason all humans didn't volunteer was because the survival rate too low (trouble bonding\linking with the machinelike) 10 in every 100 kind of low. but that's just what I think would be pretty f***ing AWESOME LOL

I really hope that the Exo and Vex hold a bit of a grudge towards eachother. I mean, Exo: Ancient rusted robot Vex: Time traveling robot it can only breed war between the two!
