I would very much like to talk to someone about Visual Basic Programming, basically right now I'm in the navy and when i get out im going to college for Video Game Programming. is there anyone that can help or give me pointers

Hey dude, well VB isn't a good start for game programming, perhaps C++ will be better? Or use a game engine? Or learn VB as a starter point for other languages for the principles. There are so many resources and forums on the web to help you out with questions, well there's one right here :D

Not sure how it works, but there may be lectures on there. For one to one, you are looking to pay some (tutoring) or perhaps just settle with some one teaching the basics. Also, you are looking at jumping in the deep end, I recommend learning the basics, otherwise you won't understand some concepts.
