Never owned one, but I have a vague interest in some, but personally I'd go with a Peavey or a Line 6. All in all, I suggest you look up some reviews on YouTube or something, and if you have any music shops you go to, see if you can try one out.

I've got this old 8-inch peavey bass amp that i'm looking to sell to help pay for a new guitar amp. I started out as a bassist so i've got three bass amps, but now i mainly play guitar and have no real guitar amps. Got recommendations for a good peavey? I play an Ibanez Artcore AF75 and i'd be willing to go up to $300 on it.
