Egypt's Government warns giving women rights could destroy society

Great. We've gifted F-16's to people who want to operate and treat half of their own population like it is still the middle ages and publicly/officially state that anyone of a different faith have devolved to the level of apes and pigs and should be treated as such. Yet they demand that we respect their ability to "maintain and preserve our own culture".

It's culture. Men and women are very different, and different cultures approach that fact in different ways. Sometimes, that culture's true motives can be corrupted. Being raised without any rights by the right people can actually make you grow up to be a very good person, but it's hardly worth it because this usually ends up being the final outcome.

It's amazing how prejudice Americans are to Muslims. Anyways, we had no women's rights here in the US and nobody cared except the women. They only got the right to vote and all that other stuff because the government was tired of their protesting.
