The odds of getting banned are really remote. It's like you have to really TRY to get banned.

But now we ninja are no longer the "play nice police" or the "content approval nannies". Users have their own ninja tools and can report/mute/hide anything and anyone they want to.
It's a brave new world. Be Brave.
Spamming is not easily defined (like beauty, it is in the eye of the beholder) and so, it's not against any specific rule. If any member decides to call a post spam, or a poster a spammer, they are empowered, encouraged and equipped to hide/mute/report as they see fit.
Adult, NSFW, shock, or other similar content can be reported/hid/muted with the reason of "offensive content" from the pulldown and when the report(s) make it to our queue, we can confirm/deny the charge which would result in a ban (for us confirming) or nothing (if we find the accusations to be unfounded).
We can also ban on sight, but our standing orders are to not be either the "place nice police" nor the "questionable content nannies". The members have the tools, the members have the power, and it is up to each and every member to decide what they will/won't accept on "their Bungie.Net".
I got banned for asking a question about ADD pills. I definitely didn't see that one coming. It was probably that prude Foman. Or Lord Revan. Or True Underdog.
If it was about putting prescription pills up your ass for an enhanced effect? That was me.
Stuff that Sucks, item 4 combined with "Offensive Content".
Like I said, to get banned you either have to try to get banned, or be an utter moron.
