My personal GotY was Halo 4. But there was no way it was going to be anything else, for me, really. :P Just like this year I'll most likely be supporting BioShock Infinite for GotY, unless it's terrible ([i]LOL[/i]), or the next generation has some incredible launch titles (ohai Watch Dogs).

While I found the gameplay to be overall poorly done in Halo 4's campaign, I loved the narrative and overall presentation. It has a ring of depth to it that the series hasn't really seen before (aside from maybe [url=http://www.forwarduntodawn.com/nine-levels-underground/]ODST[/url]). I'm [i]still[/i] trying to find time to write up a proper plot analysis, but for anybody wondering, the verdict is good. IMO: 1) Journey 2) Halo 4 3) Far Cry 3

It's frustrating as hell because I have an extremely rough skeleton of some points that I'm trying to make online, but I've got about ~3 pages worth of notes in my journal/random writing book. And the skeleton online is outdated as well, so pasting that around just makes me look like a contradictory fool. But if you truly want it, I can show you like 5 points that I made.
