Here's what this means. EXAMPLE:
>Person A uses the same Origin account for all EA games.
>Person A buys Battlefield 4 (for example) and uses his Origin ID.
>Person A can now play Battlefield 4 on the PC without having to buy it again, since he already bought it on the Xbox.
Honestly...this is a really good idea IMO.
What are your thoughts on this?

1 回复Origin sucks and was the main reason I removed Battlefield 3 from my PC.. That and that Premium bull crap.
-
2 回复All the people who claim that Origin is spyware or malware are either steam users or console users. Do a little analysis of the program, it sends off PC information to EA during crashes. That's it.

EA is all about squeezing every penny out of games possible. They achieve this by rushing out crap copies of good games that they either xerox or buy the rights too. The chance of this becoming reality is so negative that barnacle.

The article just talks about it being easier for EA to follow you from platform to platform, mostly for targeted advertisements. There's no way EA would ever implement your 'example'.

1 回复What like how valve offered portal 2 on steam if you bought a console version? Or how about when you buy any version of deus ex human revolution you got a free deus ex stub for onlive. It is hardly genuis. Especially when it should have been this way in the first place.

4 回复Imagine if this only worked for the Xbox. Microsoft and EA are apparently becoming partners. Doing this would get PC players to buy the Xbox version just so they could have the game on console and PC. It's a smart move regardless.

1 回复由Malfar编辑: 3/1/2013 12:18:05 AMYeah, but my guess is they'll charge you $90 for the game because it's cross platform...

1 回复Waaaaaaiiiiiiiit...............you're saying that.........and i'm not sure i'm hearing this right, but, origin may actually be worth a damn now?
-
1 回复I would think with it being EA that you would have to pay for it again. Maybe I will actually be able to play some of my older EA games on my nice computer...
