This is a serious question. Just look at that picture up there...pretty crazy, right? Well, the driver (literally) walked away from that. Car crashes are the #1 cause of death for people ages 15-24, and #2 for 25-34. So Flud, why do we allow this? Yeah, safety harnesses, helmets, and extra padding are inconvenient, but regulations have done crazier things before. Edit: Clearly money is an issue, but the point of this topic is to discuss the issue. There is always a way to make something cheaper, and as it becomes implemented, competition would keep prices relatively low.
