I can't really explain why, but despite it's bugs and imbalances, the reach beta was by far the most fun I've ever had playing halo. Maybe it was the hype or something.
Remember the Plasma Pistol speed and damage? Good times.

The best thing to come out of the early Halo: Reach forum.
Reach is by far Bungie's best game of all times.
I stopped playing online multiplayer after Unreal Tournament and Quake 3.
Deathmatch and CTF are not for me anymore. I am looking forward to a new online experience like what Destiny is promising.
*edited for me being an ass
I remember this video, lol. I also remember people whining like little bitches on the forums because of all the early access codes Bungie was giving out for the beta (I got one very early, from a contest). It was hilarious seeing people whine that they wanted a code.
So are we reminiscing to time when Halo was actually fun and competitive?
Because the Reach beta was the first step on the road to Halo becoming rubbish.
