For the time being, I would conduct yourselves in a manner that entices people to follow you. That's how I decide who is the best right now. I look at who is making contributions that are valuable to the most people. The old title system was based on posting a lot and not getting banned. It was a good system for its day. Now, instead of trying to curry favor with the Ninjas, you have to appeal to each other. The new Elitists will be the ones that make other people happy.

Yea I really don't think that's a good idea. If the next title system works on follows, I'm expecting a million "Follow 4 follow" threads or people continuously spamming for follows. The old system may be dated, but it was pretty good. I'm not saying stick to the old system but please do not base the titles around how many followers people have.

So your hinting that "popularity" (number of followers) will have an impact on our rating. I understand where your coming from with the "contributions that are valuable to the most people" but, I am having a hard time seeing how this won't devolve into a popularity contest in the flood or something. Or people muting others based on jealously. .... I guess I should leave it to the pro's but I think I will try and see what the community thinks of this.
