If listen to 2:45 in the ViDoc, it says if we fail, the last light of civilization will fade out. So if we purposefully as a whole decide to fail, we can wipe out the human race (or at least civilization and do away with the factions) and force Bungie to re-write the story.
I think this is kind of interesting. Anyone else think about this?

3 回复I don't think "failure" was supposed to be taken in that context. I'm quite sure the game will have a pre-determined beginning, middle, and end. That doesn't mean the environments can't still be dynamic.

I don't think that's how this really works. -__- It's just putting a fire under you, it's a story mechanic, saying there's grave danger in failure. It makes you want to win. I don't think humanity will actually die out in the game if you decide to suck.

It would be pretty cool if the community can collectively lose the game. I guess it would all start over? I have no clue how the overarching plot is going to work so I'm not sure if that even makes sense. That's a neat thought, OP.
