Ever since the Death Battle all I've heard is people whinge and bitch about how Superman is "so OP".
He's really not that powerful in terms of fictional power hierarchy. Right off the bat I can think of someone who can take him; Thor. Yup that's right. The underrated demigod who is probably the most powerful member on the Avengers. There's plenty others that I can list too.
I understand that the majority of the complainers are butthurt DBZ fans, but this is getting ridiculous. Go ahead and immerse yourself in other fictional universes/stories, and you'd realise he's actually pretty mid tier.

1 回复Goku and Superman are BOTH very OP. The creators of their shows constantly make them more and more powerful to match the lack of ideas that they have regarding plot.

1 回复I'm just going to throw out Bizzaro, H'El, Shazam, Doomsday, Darkseid, Nekron, Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Batman (with Kryptonite ring), Wonder Woman (maybe), Aquaman(maybe), and pretty much any magic user.

1 回复galactus would beat the snot out of superman. and galactus isn't even close to the strongest in the marvel universe.

3 回复In his own universe he isn't overpowered, but compare him to others. Regardless, I don't like the comics or animated movies from Marvel or DC because of how overpowered the characters are.(Before someone jumps on my dick, I'm sure they may not be OP in their own universe) That's why I liked the live action movies. They made the characters seem much more believable and realistic. Same with DBZ. While I still see them as OP, they aren't too over the top and have many limits, like Goku being able to lift only 40 tons in his base form and having a thrown rock hurt him while a Full Power Super Saiyan.

17 回复As for Thor, Superman kicked his ass in the JLA/Avengers cross over Though you're right, I find it's mainly the people who don't know a thing about Superman who insult him, his stories and his "OPness"
