This is a whole s*** storm of market crashing.
Bluntly putting it: If second hand games are eliminated I'm sure second hand game retailers will be crippled naturally, we won't be able to trade-in our games anymore which slows how many games we can buy, which will decrease the amount of gain the devs get anyway. I think it is a vicious cycle that will repeat itself many times and will work in a model similar to that of a recession.
