I thought that contract said it would be out for 360 and 720 this year, and MAYBE PS3 at the end next year, if they can get it working well enough and they think it'll sell.

Yup, it did. Of course, the recent Activision financial meeting transcript cast some doubt on the projected release windows, and I think that makes it an open question whether they release on current gen in 2014, either staggered or simultaneously, or give it a miss and target the next generation. Hopefully they've been working on it long enough now that it's worth releasing on current gen. I wouldn't mind getting in one more Bungie title before having to invest in a new platform.
