Dorner
After seeing how the LAPD is shooting up every truck in sight, there's a million dollar bounty, and drones are being called in, I got to thinking: Dorner will never go to trial. He won't be sentenced for his crimes, or get to explain himself to a judge, or even possibly get mental treatment. The LAPD will just kill him on the spot, even if he tries to surrender. They're too scared of this "dirty cop-killer" to let him live once they catch up to him.

[url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vinson_Filyaw]Perhaps not[/url] Though it isn't the same here's a guy that kidnapped a girl, -blam!- her for four days, and led police on a wild chase in that area for days and lived to see sentencing and is carrying out his sentence. I don't doubt that they'd shoot him on sight though, even if he comes out and surrenders.
