Okay, so I gotta admit, it would be nice to block some of the more aggravating tagged topics, like ________ and _________. But, on the other hand, I can't help but think that we're all in control of what we click on. Then again, I don't know about other people, but sometimes I have some strange masochistic urge to click on threads that I just know are going to aggravate me with their over the top hyperbole, and it would be nice to be able to just block them out entirely so as to resist temptation to mess with blood pressure meds.
I am a little confused as to the difference between muting and blocking tags. Doesn't that pretty much do the same thing either way?

Cool. Thanks for the explanation. That makes more sense, and it would be a really nice feature, so long as you didn't have to unmute things. If it just worked once, for one search, that would be nifty. If you have to actually do something to unmute it, it would be no different really than blocking something for your search, then unblocking it after you're done.
