Flood, or all of bungie for that matter :P, I'm upgrading my MOBO in my computer from a microATX outdated MOBO to an ATX MOBO in a midtower case, I'm also upgrading my CPU from an FX 4100 to an FX 8350, my question is, will I need to reinstall Windows 7 into my computer and why would I need to reinstall it? Wouldn't it be on my hard drive? And I do not have an SSD. Much thanks

I've always done a clean install after a major hardware change like the motherboard. It's usually pretty easy to move your Windows license over by calling them... But I've never tried it with an OEM license, so I don't know about that.

由AAAAAA编辑: 1/11/2013 6:35:03 PMWhen installing the new board, make sure you mount it properly. That's pretty much the only thing you can truely -blam!- up when actually building the PC. You'll have to spend $80 or w/e on a new Windows licence. This is because it's an OEM copy on your computer, OEM copies are linked to the motherboard & therefore when you purchase a new motherboard/install it, your licence expires.
