Employees knew THQ was in bankruptcy for a long time. However, if Clearlake had been allowed to buy, they probably would have kept a lot of the current employees intact. Selling off the IPs to individual buyers like they did probably means most lost their jobs - and contrary to what was said above, the gaming industry is a highly competitive job area. I doubt very many of them have lined up new employment yet.
