No, only if you pay for the more expensive international plan, which most wouldn't unless they travel a lot or are going on a long trip. Trust me, most of the people on my France study abroad had iPhones and they didn't work. Besides, they're college students, do you really expect them to do all that just for a 1-2 week booze filled trip?

Yeah, we decided where to eat based on if they had free wifi. Then we'd upload all our pictures, statuses, and everything from the day and crash their wifi. We never got kidnapped by human traffikers and drug syndicates though, so you know, silver lining

hahaha, well it was France so most of the food was good? my mom's friend nearly sold one of their friends to the black market in Span (french trip that went to Spain also) because they were trying to barter for a gold candle holder.
