Why is "African-American" used instead of just "African"?
The Dildact wants to know why "Asian" and "Hispanic" arent "Asian-American" and "Hispanic-American".

African American is referring to the people who came from Africa and live in America. It is exactly how my parents are Canadian American. African American is just for those overly PC people. I call people who have more pigment in their skin black.
