Title: Can the competitive matchmaking finally be improved? I want to bring attention once again to the state of competitive matchmaking, because it’s becoming really frustrating at this point. The matchmaking feels completely unbalanced. You either get teammates who play far below your skill level, or you get matched against players who are clearly way above your rank. Because the playerbase is way too small, the system mixes skill levels far too broadly, making fair matches almost impossible. On top of that, there are still cheaters, lag issues, and random errors that ruin matches completely. In competitive mode you expect a fair and stable experience, but right now it feels more like a gamble than actual competitive play. This problem has been going on for far too long. Is anything ever going to be done about this? Will matchmaking, anti-cheat, and server stability be improved? Or is this just how it’s going to stay? I know many players are dealing with the same issues. Hopefully we’ll finally see an update that makes competitive feel truly competitive again.
