I’ve tried many methods: enabling UPnP and opening ports. However, when I select my character, the screen keeps showing “Contacting to Destiny 2 servers.” When I use a VPN, I end up with a Strict NAT.

If you're still experiencing the issue after trying this out, unfortunately, the only remaining option is to contact your internet service provider for further troubleshooting.
